Short update

Hello all,

So, I thought it might be about time to let you know how i am doing, but i have to admit i havent planned out anyhting in advance, so it might be short and random, and i am using a french keyboard at an internet place, so pardon the mistakes.

HAPPY INAUGURATION...
I am in town to try andf see if I can catch the speech, or at least the festivities in general, as the speech will most likely be on rather late here. But I am excited. I got tons of mail from people today, so THANK YOU ALL. I plan on reading and writing back a bunch when I return to site, so you wont get the responses for some time, but know that i appreciate it.

Things are going poretty well, Lots of ups and downs. The water pump, no i dont actually have to pump it, it is just a foset everyone gathers water from, has stopped working at inconvient times twice now, and that was quite defeating. But it is often quite reliable, so no big deal. it is just a pain in the ass when it isnt working and I need to rinse my laundry.

I am slowly getting started at my job. I finally started doing health peer education presentations at the Doctors office/hostipal I work at. I have only done 2 so far, but they went ok. I am still scared to get really big on audience participation like i am supposed to cause i am worried about not understanding people. But that will come. My language is progressing little by little. I still struggle a lot. But I just have to keep reminding myself it is still early.

I have been a bit sick lately. Just like fatigue and mild to moderate nauesea, bhut it has been happening for the past week or more like everyday. I guess I should call the docotor again, but today i feel ok, so maybe not. I think I had worms last week, not to gross you all out but I saw something in my... So the Dr said I should take the medication. I might still have them and thus the reason for my mild illness, but i dont know. I think ill be fine.

So almost as an odd forshadow, I got a text message from Chris a while back saying he was at the zoo and there were Mad hissing cockroaches and he thought of me. this was just before I moved into my house. Well, as odd fate would have it, I get to witness the zoo up close and personal in my bedroom every night now. They arent all that bad, but i find dead ones every now and again in my water bucket in the morning, and occasionally they are really loud at night when they crawl on shit, so i think i will buy pestiside tomorrow.

Oh yeah, so Christmas was absolutely awful. Not a big deal here, so my neighbors didnt quite understand why I was standing outside on my phone balling talking to my family. Oh all of the challenging things I have done in my lifez, shave my head, a 110 pg thesis, leaving home...being away for X mas was unexpectedly up there on the list. But New Years was fun,; they go all out here and ,y town had a party. And things have been good since. Well, I hate to leave on a slightly sad note, but I get charged by the minute here, so... Miss you all, love you all; write often.
